Xin Huang

Xin Huang is an artist exploring posthuman ecologies and ambiguous biological forms. Her sculptural practice integrates industrial and organic materials, investigating the tension between infrastructure and nature. Recently, her work has centered on fungal ecologies, utilizing scale shifts and morphological distortions to examine the boundaries between symbiosis, parasitism, and decay. Influenced by thinkers such as Anna Tsing and Donna Haraway, she employs sculpture and installation to speculate on life forms beyond the Anthropocene.
Her work draws from the logic of fungi, insects, and non-human entities, oscillating between familiar and alien lifeforms. Through material experimentation, she challenges biological classifications and probes speculative ecological narratives.
She is currently pursuing an MFA in Fine Art at Goldsmiths, University of London.
