Lexi (Jiayu) Duan, is a fashion designer and creative performance artist. Her practice explores the relationship between garments, bodies, and spatial settings. Through constructed narratives, she investigates themes of memory and emotion. She often works with soft ribbons in her garment—making process, imbuing her pieces with a sense of tenderness, vulnerability, and quiet tension.

By carefully shaping quiet moments of closeness, Lexi’s work navigates the delicate boundary between care and control, between expression and emotional distance in intimate relationships.

Lexi is a fashion knitwear graduate from Central Saint Martins. She also has an AAS degree from the Fashion Institute of Technology.
